In many areas there is still peak shedding going on. Remember to
flea-comb, brush, or pluck away excess fur.

When ingested fur ball preventatives are needed remember that
digestible oil s like Ferretone or Laxatone WILL NOT WORK. Fur ball
preventatives work by passing pretty much intact through the digestive
system and dragging along the fur. Digestible things will not do that,
and even worse is that oils and fats take longer to digest so they
slow down digestion
