I have worked Kurt and Deanna Troi out of my 33 ferrets. Unfortunately a
heck of a lot of rabbits in this area are affected with myxy. so it is
difficult finding somewhere to ferret.

At present most ferreters and air-gunners seem to be just putting rabbits
suffering from myxy out of their misery.

Oliver is doing great now, he is now living with Spooky, Brock, Lulu, Jill
and Amanda - Tasha Yar and Sarek will be coming back here tomorrow (Sat=
urday) as Peter will be adopting 3 ferrets from N. Wales. Oliver even had=
a go at doing a 'weasel war-dance' yesterday.

The little jill kit, now named Phoenix, is coming along fine, she has dou=
bled her weight, even the vet was impressed last Tuesday when I took her in
to be weighed. She has even managed a few very soft 'chooks' so she must be
feeling safe and secure, she still snatches food but at least she= is
stashing instead of eating it straight away. I offered her a chick today
which she grabbed and stashed at the back of her carrier, she proba= bly
hasn't got a clue what to do with it as the only meat I've offered her her
is minced beef. I still have to work out which group to put her with, she's
still so small compared to the rest of my gang.

Thanks to everyone who has sent me e-mails re Oliver and Phoenix.

Sheila
