I know that ferrets scratch all the time. As someone from the list told
me once, "they would stop and scratch even if a mountain lion was chasing
them." But poor Butch is really scratching more than usual. The vet
checked him out and he doesn't have fleas or any skin problems. He gets
Ferratone and eats T. F. so I think there is enough fat in his diet. His
coat looks good and I really don't see any redness on his skin. I saw in
the Ferret Store catalog some items that you spray on their coat that will
relieve the itchiness. Has anyone tried them or does any one have any
suggestions for us. The poor guy is sound asleep in dead ferret mode when
he suddenly leaps out of the hammock and scratches like he's never gonna
stop. I feel bad for him and I know how uncomfortable I feel when my skin
is dry and itchy.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

PS-any of you shelters out there have any crinkle sacks for sale? I would
like to get my guys one since they love the sound of paper bags so much and
I would prefer to support a shelter.
