Hello All
 
Over here in England I have never seen a ferret for sale in a pet shop
(luckily some ferret supplies are!)
 
I got mine from a rescue centre a few miles away.  Besides animal shelters
the only other ways that I know people here can obtain ferrets is either
via small advertisements in local newspapers or through friends.
 
From what I am reading about your experiences I hope that the situation
stays as it is.
