Hello everybody!

For the last two weeks Cleo (almost two year old altered MF female) has had
diarrhea. She has had no other symptoms. She is still very active and is
eating and drinking normally.

I brought her to the vet last weekend and she suggested putting her on
antibiotics. Cleo has been on the antibiotics (Trimethoprim Sulfa 30 mg
tablet once a day) for 8 days now with no change. She is going back to the
vet today for blood test to check for infection and possibly prednosone
(sp?) for inflammatory bowel condition if she does not have an infection.

Cleo and Ramsey both had an ECE like illness about three months ago. Ramsey
is the one who got it bad. Cleo only had diarrhea, not too bad, kinda like
it is now except it was much smellier. Is it possible this is just a
relapse of sorts?

Please let me know your ideas on this.

Melinda, Peter, Ramsey, Cleo, and Tapper (cat), remembering Moses.
