Everyone,
 
I just wanted to thank everyone for the cards and letters regarding
Slinky's passing.  There are too many for me to respond to everyone
individually but they have meant a lot to me and my family.  I just know
that Slinky is better offwhere he is now.  I'm still waiting for autopsy
results to tell us what was wrong - initially it was thought he had
helicobacter or possible blockage but treatment and testing proved us
wrong.  My biggest fear now is that it was something contagious and that
my other guys might get it.  Although we seperated Slinky as soon as we we
realized he was sick, the vets all said that if it is contagious, we might
not be out of the woods yet.  Right now everyone is looking ok but we're
keeping our eyes open.
 
On a good note, I've had another ferret sighting..this one online.  Some
of you might have seen it already, but it's an online "coloring book."

you to another page where you chose the item you want to color.  Naturally,
I chose "Ferret Astaire".  *G*
