     I think most weight gain this time of year is due to winter.
 
     Dr. Williams, is ferret response to winter due to Photoperiod
or due to temperature.  My hypothesis is photoperiod since it is
quite warm here in California, yet my ferret "beefs up" every winter
and drops weight every spring.
 
     Just wondering?
