Hey all,
 
I agree with Caitlyn Martin's original write-up.  I'd only like to add
one comment:

Mavis was not even going to go to the hospital at all, and stated that
her finger was fine.  Her finger became swollen and in pain when they
applied some very old medicine that they found in a kit that was covered
in cob-webs.
 
When I saw the show title, I too assumed the worst.  How bad of me.
