Hi all,
First of all I loved Wolfy's Aussie talk! I've been listening to the Point
(98.9) for those of you who live in the Portland, Maine area. The DeeJays
have been calling and chatting with Aussies and asking them funny questions
and asking them to speak English as we do and the DeeJays then try to speak
with an Aussie accent. I tell ya, it is just hilarious! The perfect way
to start your day at the (paying) job.....

Anyway, on to the point of my post. This is just a reminder to all who
live in New England that Maine's First Ferret Frolic is scheduled for
Saturday, September 30th from 1-4 p.m. in the parking lot at Pet Quarters
in Scarborough, Maine. Pet Quarters is a stone's throw from the Maine Mall
in Portland. The event is free, and open to all ferrets, provided they are
healthy and current on all vaccinations. We will have contests, raffles,
food, and vendors with some neat ferret-related stuff for sale. Portland
is about an hour north of Portsmouth, NH, give or take a bit. It's all
highway driving, so it is easier than heading inland and taking those back
roads New England is known for. And it's a great time of year for a little
outing with your ferret. Keep your fingers crossed for great weather that
day!

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope to have directions
available soon from all points.

G'day mates!
Stephanie
