In the 3rd week of May we began implanting 13 of our shelter kids. They
range in age from 3 - 9 1/2 years, are in various degrees of adrenal,
some with concurrent illnesses, some without. All were previously on
lupron/melatonin and all responding well. We stopped the lupron in all
of them, only 4 are carrying current melatonin implants. This is our
first attempt at using deslorelin.

The problem is that none of the 13 are responding to the deslorelin.
Five of the 13 seem to be static, the others are regressing. This is
not the course I expected to take this far along after implantation
and I am seriously considering restarting lupron.

I know there are folks out there with long time deslorelin use and
experience and I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the situation
for me. As of last week we have suspended implanting the deslorelin.

Please feel free to contact me off list. Thanks a lot.
