While in PetSmart I picked up a brochure about ferrets from the rack
of small pet information. This is supposedly written by veterinarians.
A few things stand out: Recommended to give fresh fruit once a week
(papaya, banana, melon); Bedding: aspen or pine (does that mean to
sleep in or go potty in?) Also to have chew toys available in the
habitat at all times; are these rabbits or rats? The shopping list
of supplies also mentions under nutrition and maintenance

a) fortified ferret pellets
b) fresh fruits
c) ferret treats

One out of three isn't bad, huh?

Can anyone from AFA contact PetSmart and try to get them to correct
these misconceptions and get more updated information printed?
At least they have a picture of a Ferret Nation cage in it.
