Sorry this is so late, I'm behind in reading the FML posts.  There is a
French ferret mailing list that might be helpful for obtaining information
about caring for ferrets in France and finding out about veterinarians.
The web site: Les Amis du Furet gives instructions (in French) on how to
subscribe to a French ferret mailing list.  The e- mail address is:
[log in to unmask]
I believe that all you have to do is write "inscription liste" in the
subject and your name and city in the message box.  The address for Les
Amis du Furet is:
perso.wanadoo.fr/ulate/index2.htm;
or you can get there from Ferret Central.  I don't know if you have to write
your questions to them in French or not.  Hope this helps.
