Hello! I, too, was worried when we first got our
boy ferret (Sparky) last x-mas about the treats
he would like. He did not care for anything at
all. This worried us because we
wanted to give him a food treat when he was good
because he is deaf and the cooing and such does
not work (though holding him under my chin and
saying 'good fair-rat' does seem to have a good
effect). anyways, he is about 11 months old now,
and we have discovered *THE* treat to give him.
Cap'n Crunch cereal. He is constantly trying
to eat some out of my bowl in the morning and
gets quite upset when I eat the whole bowl without
him. He does not care for the crunch berries (my
personal fav.), but he *LOVES* the regular cereal.
We are still trying to find other (nutritional)
treats for him, but for now, it is one rectangle
of cereal a day (usually for pooing in the right
corner).

good luck with finding the perfect treat,
Susan, Darel, Roo, and Sparky
