Cages- RIPOFF?

I just ordered a cage from Ferret Outfitters, a three story playpen, for
$199.00.  Is this something my ferret will love or just sleep in?  Should I
return it and build my own?  I would like to be able to lock "Byron" up once
and a while and get my bedroon back, maybe be able to open my door for a
sustained period of time.  Any advice?
