About Showering Ferrets:
Kevin - I showered with one of my ferrets last night for the first time!
The first bath Emma ever got (in a big bowl), she sat still, but baths after
that drove her crazy and she would thrash like a demon to get out.  In the
shower, though, she was still and let me hold her and shampoo her...Worked
_very_ well!
 
Collars:
Someone (Lars, I think) suggested making collars out of ball chains - that
sounds interesting...but would the fuzzy be able to get out of it if he
needed to?  Ball chains are much thinner and harder than nylon or leather or
homemade elastic collars, and could probably do more damage if it got hung
up on something...  Input, anyone??
 
Emma (aka Houdinette) has gotten out of every collar I've ever put on her,
from nylon to homemade elastic.  Then she hides them.  (sigh)....
