Okay this is my second post today I am writting in some anger and hopeing
someone might be able to help.  There is a petco is King of Prussia PA that
has this not so big glas encloser about five or six ferrets.  There is a
littler box but there is no way to keep it upright so it is uyseless..
these babys have the longestnails I have ever seen of ferrets and they are
soooo dirty they smell HORRIBLE!!!!  and this comes from someone who likes
the smell of ferrets but man they smelled awful.  and on top of that they
bite horribley why??  because all the poeple that who there are afraud to
handle them and they only clean the pen once a week.  I am considering
asking them if I can come up twice a week or so as a volenteer to teach
them how to take care of ferrets now I know I haven't had ferrets long
myself but I have read almost everything on ferret central and my babys
seem clean and happy.  I clean anything out of their cage replaceing and
soiled bedding and all of that fun stuff and changing littler box every
morning when I get up and every night before I go to bed... thats 14 times
a week..  and thats with only two monsters.  that little pen at petco which
is smaller then what I have my two in has about 5 or six ferrets in it and
it only gets cleaned once a week its a wonder that no one will buy these
guys!!!  There is one ferret who is a huge black eyed white with some light
gray markings on his sholders... he has to be the sweetest pet stopre
ferret I have evr met also the biggest My heart went out to this fellow he
is sooo dirty but soooo sweet..  I was hopeing that a shelter in the area
might be able to help me out with doing something about this i think it
horrible... i don't think it's case the petco doesn't want tpo help the
animals i just don't think they know how... what to do....
