With a smile on my lips I know you can now dance
For JOY beside your two sisters
No more pain
Your body strong as in youth.
Your life was long but hard
Cancer nearly claimed you at five
You were just too tired at ten
I cry only out of selfishness
For I will miss your kisses,
Your loving touch
Please meet me at the bridge when my time comes
For sometimes the hardness of life
and the infirmities of age
Make me forget how to dance
Teach me, show me, we will dance
For JOY over the bridge TOGETHER FOREVER!
