Yeah... deaf ferrets do seem to have a thing for hanging upside down!
 
They do stare at you as though they're reading your mind.
 
They are loud when playing.
 
A deaf ferret sneeze can be an AWESOME sound... you'll tear the house down
trying to get to that sound... and get a "huh?" look as a reward.
 
When testing for deafness keep in mind that they CAN feel vibrations.
They are often intrigued by vacume cleaners.  And they may be deaf only
to certain frequency ranges.  They might hear high pitched sounds, but
not low pitch sounds.
