To Yuki, Mike, and Sneaker -
 
        Just because both of
the adrenals were enlarged doesn't necessarily mean that both are
involved.  I commonly see cysts in the right adrenal, which don't
cause any problem at all, but just make the adrenal larger.  In fact,
many vets take the right one out, thinking that there is a tumor there.
So, if both were big, your vet did the right thing in removing the left.
 
 
        Just make sure your get the adrenal looked at by a patholgist.  I
am happy to do this for you at no charge....
