Dear Joann,
we have seen ferrets post adrenal surgery develop many systemic infections--
I would not be at all surprised if your ferrets right adrenal is partly to
balme.  Many times in males it causes a prostrate condition --- this shows
up as recurring bladder infections etc.
 
Hugs to you and your fuzzies-- realize that it is not the adrenal problems
that take the precious lives of our ferretss, it is most always a systemic
infection which they can no longer fight off.  The adrenal complications
just compromise the immune system too much-- at least in the experiences
here that is what I have found.
