I don't believe my message said not to use muzzles to prevent law suits.
My point was that if people see ferrets wearing muzzles, like a vicious
dog would, they will think that ferrets are vicious.  Personally, I don't
want people thinking and believing that my ferrets are vicious.  I don't
believe it helps the cause, which all ferret owners are fighting, that
ferrets are not vicious and that they make wonderful pets.  Instead of
people asking "will he bite?" I think you will hear "Don't touch him, he
must be really nasty if they have to put a muzzle on him."
