We had a wonderful son who was killed in an auto accident on this past
Christmas Eve. We were left with his ferret, Pooyan, who is 6 years old,
in good health but never had any shots but his first distemper (I think
that was it) one which made him violently ill. He has always been an
"only" ferret - met some other ones once and they almost killed each other.
He has free roam of the house, a cage he never uses, also a travel cage and
leash. He likes Iams adult cat food, raisens, bananas and ferret treats.

My husband and I need to put our house up for sale as we are retiring and
moving out of state and we would like to give Pooyan and all his stuff to
someone who would give him a nice home with no other ferrets. He doesn't
bite as far as we know, but he is not one to sit in your lap. He likes
to play with plastic bags and be pulled across the floor in them. He will
also chase a ball. Oh - he is used to dogs - we have a small mutt and
often have a big black lab stay with us too.

Pooyan needs someone to love him as our son did.

We live in PA, just outside of King of Prussia (not far from Phila.)
Please contact me directly at [log in to unmask] if you can help us out.
I only got this newsletter for our son to keep up on ferret stuff, and I
don't read it. (Our son was 26 years old, so Pooyan is not used to
children at all)

Thanks for any help you can be.
