Has anyone on here used the 4,7mg implant to chemically neuter a jill?

I had 3 jills implanted in March 2011 all three have since died one in
the summer of 2012 at the age of 2 years old and the other two this
year: Layla was five and Amber four.

I have since heard from a friend who runs a small rescue where they
have known that jills coming into rescue have been given the implant
and were consequently spayed, On opening up the jills her vet found
that the reproductive organs on all the jills were shrivelled and
deformed, The longer they've been implanted the worse the damage to
the organs.

It's extremely worrying as a number of the vets in the UK are now
refusing to spay and are opting for the implant as they say it prevents
adrenal disease. What is even more worrying is that the implant is not
licensed for jills in the UK and is only licensed for hobs.

In 20 years of running a rescue I have only had one ferret which
had AD and he came in with it.
