I bought a bag of "Totally ferret' food for Zoe on the recommendation of the
shelter. I was told that if I used that brand of food, I would not need to
add vitamins or fatty acid supplements. Is this true? What (if anything) is
so special about the Totally Ferret food?

I read on the labels of all the ferret foods I found that they have high
levels of Taurine added. For what specifically do ferrets needs this amino
acid to be supplemented? Thanks.
