Hi everyone! It's been a long time but I think I've finally gotten things
straightened out and have been desperately trying to catch up on my FMLs.
I have two questions on my mind that I was hoping some one could help me
out with.

First question : I'm looking for a cage.
There was the most beautiful cage at Pet Palace. It was basically two 3
level 5 ft tall cages connected to each other by about 4 "tunnels" made
from the same wire. Each side had a different layout and I was just
awestruck. It was priced at about $200. I only have two ferrets and I
know the cage I have is great for them - but this one was so COOL. There
was only one drawback. It had the two metal sliding trays underneath it.
I would like to get a cage that has a plastic tray that the cage rests on.
It would be so much easier to clean. Does any one know where I can get one
of these huge cages with the "tunnels" that sits in a plastic tray or know
how I could change this cage to put a plastic try in it?

Second question : Dogs & ferrets
My friend recently got two Newfoundland puppies. They are absolutely
adorable. I will even be taking one of them to obedience classes with my
friend. From what I have read these dogs do not have a high hunting
instinct. They were bred to be "working dogs" pulling carts, rescuing
people from drowning, etc. I would like to introduce my girls to the dogs
and form a friendship so that I can bring them over to play and we can all
take trips together. I am aware of a few techniques in associating dogs
and ferrets together. Is there anything that I should be aware of with
Newfies? The puppies are only 9 weeks old (huge already) is it too soon to
introduce them? How can I integrate them when they are not living together?

Ok so I fibbed it was more than two questions. Please send responses to
[log in to unmask] (my home address) or post in the FML. Thanks so much for
sharing with me.
