I've got our ordinary flower pot soil in a couple of buckets placed inside
a larger cardboard box. Of course they could forcefully enough to get it
out on the floor, but it only rarely happens, most of the time only a
little spills out of the bucket and end up in the box. I water the soil
every time I water my indoor plants: This is one of the most effective ways
of avioding having one climb up and mess with them instead.
