My ferret is alone in his cage during the day from 9:00-5:00. When I get
home from work, I take him out where he remains until midnight or so. I
take him out again in the morning while I get ready for work for about an
hour. Is that enough time? Is he lonely. He doesn't seem depressed, but
I have noticed him becoming a lot more subdued then he was as a baby. Is
that normal? He still hopps around and stuff. I just don't want him to be
depressed. Also, can anyone give me some advice about litter training? As
long as he is in his cage, he goes in his box, but once he's out, he goes
wherever. It is very frusterating because I am constantly picking up after
him. Any suggestions? I am getting ready to move and I don't want him to
ruin the carpet in my new house!

Thanks,
Bonnie
