hi all :)

i am all frazzled and undone. Zephyr has a ruptured cornea. i took her to
the vet and he gave me some antibiotics to put on it and said come back in a
week. well i did that. wasn't any better.

he then gave me some phone numbers of some opthamologists. i have spent the
better part of a week talking with them. one will be here in two weeks.
the other is some distance away.

they say that they may be able to surgically fix the eye, but it would have
been better had they seen it sooner. great! :(

well the problem isn't with transportation, but $$. i am on disability and
money is scarce. i am expecting back pay, but the government moves slow.
who knows when it will be available.

does anyone know of an opthmologist that would do the surgery and let me pay
later?

my baby hurts and i want to make it better. putting antibiotic ointment on
the eye and then watching her rub it off isn't helping matters either. i
don't really want to have the eye removed.

any good suggestions??

do they make eye patches for ferrets???????

kathy. and zeffy!
