Dear FMLers,
    In norht Carolina we have a volunteer organization called P.A.L.S.
(Pets Are Loving Support).  We help those who are terminally ill take care
of their animals and then place them in volunteer's homes until they are
adopted.  I work with people from Hospice, Red Cross, etc.  Our main concern
is letting the owners keep their pets as long as possible.  North Carolina
is not FFZ so ferrets are not a problem.  If anyone needs info just Email me
at [log in to unmask] I will reply A.S.A.P.  I don't know if
this orgnization exsists elsewhere so if anyone knows about other states I'd
love to know.  There is someone out there that will care for your fuzzies-
maybe we can help.
