Hi all!  It's your pal Jerimiah!
 
Wow hot isn't it?  Ooowweee, I am so glad a shelter family sent the a/c
unit-- we have been at least comfortable but it sure is a hot one.  Well
shelter dad told Mom it was going to rain-- Rex heard him talking and
tellin' and all.  Well it sure did - when it rains it pours in this shelter
anyway.  So, Mom was downstairs cause she has been cleaning up after all us
angels a lot lately-- she says we are messy in the heat ???  Anyway she was
talking to the grumpy gal Curly, Little Bear and Disney and all of a sudden
the sky just opened up.  It was pouring in the treatment room.  It was
pouring bubbles and all right through the ceiling- right through the light
OOOOhhhh NOOOO Mom said as she ran out the door.  A few minutes later she
comes back then Dad comes in too.  whilst they is bringing in mopping
buckets and towels and every other thing.  Meanwhile all the gals had to go
back to their cage-- well it was only fair we was in ours!  I paced back
and forth-- after all I wanted to help too... but they didn't ask me to
help :(.
 
Things have changed here recently -- thankfully I have Rex for a coach.
Seems Bear FerretWise got his calling and graduated me to shelter Mascot--
he left for Rainbow Bridge and frankly my feet aren't quite big enough for
these boots, but Rex is trying to help me through the bumps.  The shelter
folks has been a little quiet but we still gets our snacks, more ferretone
and less cheerio's lately since Uncle Bob Church done told Mom and the
whole ferret world cheerio's aren't good for us kids :(   Man it takes a
spoilsport sometimes I'll get my licks in next time he visits! :)
 
There's lots of talk about Ferretstock.  THE NICE FOLKS at The FERRET STORE
sponsored this years event -- there is some printed things here that
everyone will gets when they come, and lots of raffle prizes 4 trophy
events/ games and 11 regular games & contests and of course the great
desert auction for ADV research.  There is some neat mugs which have the
Ferretstock logo on them that only folks who come can get -- and neat new
bedding in the theme of the 60's.  What is a 60's anyway?  Mom loves the
60's!  There will be folks, shelters and clubs form MA, NH, NY, NJ lots and
lots to do..  and that neat lady Ela will be here making scented soaps &
scented lip balms yummy!  Mom will mail out forms for those who want them
on the event or you's can jest check out the event listings on the web site

Of course she has listed some neat new things on auction this week, cuz she
says with Casper, and Rex on lupron and meds she needs to clean the house
out!  Hmmm I bet I can help better than those bubbles did-- I helped her
right out of a bottle of ferretone last week- Iove when the cap comes off!
