Dear Norm,
Dates are a little like raisins, but they're not nearly as good.  I
was fooled into trying one once, thinking it was a bigger raisin.  I
spit it right back out.

P. S. Rusty says to tell you that he likes dates.  That's not saying
much, though -- he'll eat nearly everything the big-soft-pink-furless-
unbiteable ferrets give him.
