I just wanted to write to let everyone know about some BEAUTIFUL things
I've received from the shelters on this list lately.  They are just
gorgeous, and are great gift ideas if you are looking for a ferret-related
gift for a special someone.  (These are all items that these shelters
sell to raise money for their homeless fuzzies).
 
In order that I received them, here is what I've received:
 
1.  From Alicia at Ferretwise ([log in to unmask]):
 
A ferret hammock!  Alicia makes some beautiful, heavy duty high-quality
hammocks.  The particular hammock that Alicia sent me is a Paddington Bear
hammock (replete with pictures of the storybook character and his name)
for my Paddington Bear ferret.  It opens in the middle so that Paddington
can crawl right in and snuggle, and Scooter fits in there with him (when
Paddington allows him in).  It has metal "eyeholes" in each corner, and
comes with metal "shower curtain ring" things to hang it up in the cage.
 
Also, a heart-shaped ferret sleeping bag!  It has a beautiful red and
white print, too .. and both ferrets fit in there at once.  It's nice and
quilted and warm, and they love it!
 
2.  From Chere McCoy ([log in to unmask]):
 
Two beautiful ferret angels/fairies!  One of them is a unique angel: Ada
Lou, the quilting ferret fairy!  She has a sweet little
partially-completed quilt in her arms, complete with thread and needle,
and is wearing a red and tan gingham dress with lace collar .. and
matching sun bonnet.  She's just gorgeous!
 
The other ferret fairy would make a great gift for a favourite
veterinarian: it's the veterinarian ferret fairy.  She's so cute ... her
blue print dress has a pattern of teddy bears, bunnies, hearts, bandages
and lollipops ... and she has a matching raisin lollipop in her paw!
Around her neck is a surgical mask, and she has a halo of silver, with
silver stars.  She's a sable .. she looks a lot like my Scooter!  :->
 
3.  Ferret stationery, from Jackie Hawley ([log in to unmask]):
 
Jackie makes some beautiful notecards, ranging from Valentine's Day cards,
to ferret loss condolence cards, to some adorable ferret stickers.  They
are in full-colour on a beautiful, heavy card stock ... and have adorable
captions and sentiments that could *only* have been written by a ferret
owner!  I love them!
