i took my ferret into the vet on thursday because he has orange patches on
his skin. The doctor said it could be mites and gave him a shot for it and
told me to come back in two weeks for another shot. The patches don't seem
to be clearing up though. Does anyone know if this is a sign of mites for
sure ? Are there any other treatments for it ?

thanks,
-katie.
