Hey Everyone,

Well, the competition is heating up. Got in several new submissions for
names today, and there are some good ones in there.

Just to refresh everyone's memory, White Fang in a little DEW girl that
Trish Curtis orchestrated a long distance operation and rescue for. She
came from Calgary, travelling down the US with Mo' Bob to me, here in
Houston. And within the next week or so we will be moving up to Missouri
and she can visit with Mo' Bob again.

And Bob is the final judge in this contest. Although I do have a couple of
favorites, I won't try to influence the judge too much. ;)

Since my moving plans have been delayed for a couple of days, I will take
submissions until next Monday, and then hopefully our little girl with have
a new name. And the winner will have a fancy new certificate suitable for
lining, er uh hanging on the wall.

As for her, she hasn't shown any preference to any names (I hold her to my
voice box so she can feel them). But she is sleeping with me more and more
and is getting much calmer around Nicky, the ferret who is with her most.
On my recent trip to Columbia Bob suggested feeding her white raisins to
help diminish her craving for rubber and I have been faithfully feeding them
to her everday. And by Bob, it seems to work! For those wondering, he
postulated that it was the sulpher in the raisins that curbed her cravings
(she didn't exhibit them when she was with him).

All in all she is turning out to be a pretty sweet girl. She does a little
dance when she sees the raisin box, and I am sure she is singing the "Raisin
Song" in her head.

Mo' Maggie and Mo' White Fang
