WOW!  Great pictures of Scooter!  What a cutie!  and what an awesome
hubby to give you such a wonderful gift!  Just looking at the pictures
made me think that He probably gave you a lot of smiles while you had
him... you'll never forget those moments.  Hang in there, in time peace
will come and you'll realize you can visit that happy place in your soul
where Scooter still resides any time you want!
 
To Joanie, RE: your ferrety smell.  I've gotten into the habit of
cleaning out the box pretty often at the house.  The ferrets are all my
responsibility and I worry that the recent addition of two more might
increase the potential for the SO to complain about smells or messes, so
I'm pretty proactive with my cleaning.  It helps a lot.  I bought the
wipes from theferretstore.com and haven't really used them much.  None of
my 4 get baths unless they've really gotten into something.  Most of the
ferrety smell problem that occurs in our house is litter related.  Also,
we clean their ears faithfully every week and I really think that seems
to help.
