We just saw the episode on Ferrets and the Buckeye Bash from Pursuit
of Excellence (an Australian show with this episode filmed in the the
U.S., so it took a while to get here to the U.S). Wow! Wow! Wow!
I was sorry to see two biting situations happen.
Barb Carlson's singing was absolutely essential to the film! It was
one of the very human and very accessible things that made it such a
pleasure for anyone, ferret fanatic or not, as did those marvelous
ferret play sequences.
I think we might be buying a copy in the future.
For those in the U.S. who want to purchase a DVD; they are about $25
from 1-800-PLAY PBS
Such a joy to see so many people and ferrets I know and know about,
but have never met face to face!
Okay, yes, I am grinning with happiness so hard that my face aches.
Did you miss it? Did your PBS station not carry it? Contact them and
tell them that you want to see the Pursuit of Excellence series among
the shows they buy the rights to air. Or, get a copy and watch it
often.
