Absolutely!  You should put the picture on eBay!
 
If someone can get hundreds of dollars for a toasted cheese sandwich
with the Virgin Mary's silhouette on it, you should get something for
this work of art!  Auction off the photograph.
 
Then you can use it as a donation for your shelter, and the person buying
it can claim it on his income taxes as a charitable deduction (minus what
the photo is worth, of course).  It's a Win-Win situation!
