Hi Ron,
Slinky's lumps could be from his shots, if his shots were very recent.
However, it would be best to bring him to your vet for a check-up, because
those lumps could also be enlarged lymph nodes.  Enlarged lymph nodes
can be a sign of lymphosarcoma, and you would want to discuss treatment
options with your vet.  You can read up on lymphosarcoma at
http://www.ferretcentral.org, in the Medical FAQ section.  His apparent
weight gain could also be due to an enlarged spleen, which can be
indicative of a number of things-- again, this is something for the vet
