Ihave been on the list for sixteen years. I like to keep a low profile.
I've seen some wonderful people come and go and basically it's always
the same reason. Why does there have to be a whipping boy for people to
take their frustrations out on? I have used the Giving Tree since it
started. Some years I've gotten thanks, some not. Big deal. I do it for
the ferrets and they can't write anyway (no opposable thumbs or they
would). Kris and Lori, to name a few, do what they do for the same
reason.

When I first started getting this list I was in desperate need of
advice. My vet wanted my ferret put to sleep. Thanks to all of you I
found out there was a better vet and the condition (adrenal) did not
warrant her being put to sleep. Lillian lived another three years
thanks to this wonderful list. Let's get back to helping and supporting
each other like we used to. It's a new year, let's all try to be
positive in it.
