The Bloomfield (New Jersey) Animal Shelter is holding a "Pet Education" or
"Pet Awareness" (something like that) day this Sunday.  I plan to attend,
probably with one or two of my fuzzies.  :-> I will also have some
educational materials about ferrets with me.
 
I attended this event last year, too, and it was great.  A couple of other
FMLers also made it, three of my ferrets were with me ..  and one of them
even got his picture in the local paper! :->  If anyone would like to come
with me this year, the shelter and I would be happy to have you!
 
The event is going to be held in the Elks Club on Bloomfield Avenue, from
about 10 am Sunday to early afternoon (maybe 2 or 3 pm?) That's exit 148
on the Parkway, and not far from exit 16W on the Turnpike ... near the
