Just a quick update on the Ferret Association of CT's rescue Mira, who was
burned with bleached and stepped on. I visited the shelter today and saw
Mira doing her little hop around the house. She reminds me of a tiny
kangaroo. She still tries to bite your feet. I helped clip her nails
which she hated and I cleaned her ears. She has been accepted by the
Gruden's brood of ferrets, and I believe she will be a permanent mascot for
the club/shelter. They haven't had time to post updated pictures on the
site but hope to soon. I am also pleased to report that there are only a
few ferrets available for adoption and our foster program is a big success.
