Daisy was in today to be spayed.  Daisy made it thru surgery Thank God.  I
was so worried and so was the family.  Poor mom said I should get a ferret
who is spayed/neutered so we would not have to worry so much when they
needed this done.  Told her it is healthier when they have this surgery
later in life.  Since the doc knew I was worried he said "someone would
call me after surgery." She is just too groggy to come home today and this
bother's me.  The surgery was done at 12:00 and I called at 4:45.  So she
will have to stay the night.  Have to say this was not an easy experience.
Hopefully she will be fine thru the night.  Even tho I know spaying late is
good, it's so hard on me emotionally because it's considered major surgery.
Luckily the doctor helped me feel abit more comfortable.  We took her to
Burien Veterinary Hospital.  If anyone wants to know the docs name I will
give it to you when I know how to spell the name.  The vet was very
knowledgeable and I was really impressed with him.  He has worked with
ferret's for 13 years.
