I've heard the stories about ferrets killing human babies.
Never believed them then, and now that I've had my first
baby, I still don't believe them. Oliver is wonderful
around the baby. He just like to sniff John's face, and
will sometimes lick his hands and face - if the dog lets
him. It didn't take long for the dog to discover that
baby spit-up is the most scrumptious hors d'ouvre around.
He defends it to the death (or that's what it sounds like).
Good thing the baby is used to barking!

Olly is just interested in all the baby equipment. His favorite
napping spot has changed from a dresser drawer to the
baby's car seat (when the baby's not using it, of course).

I've seen the ferret LIST faq, but is there an faq on
the critters only? Nancy Hartman has posted a number of
excellent articles describing the history and behavior
of ferrets, not to mention the info on health and illnesses.
Has anyone saved this info? Is anyone trying to compile
it into an faq?

I guess by asking I might be volunteering. I don't mind,
but also don't have anything to start with. Plus I'm in a
FFZ, and don't really want to post my email address.

If we got one put together, could we make it available

[That's the idea, but I'm not sure where people have gotten to.]
