Hi all:

Chris, in issue 730, the Labbs sysop posted a message, re: announcing they
are echoing the fml. I didn't think this was such a big deal until I saw
the end of their message.

I have to agree with Dr. Williams. I don't think "use of laboratory
animals for the *benefit* of human and animal health" is appropriate for
a group that is discussing ferrets (or any animals) as pets. I thought
you might have seen the message and felt it was okay to let it through,
so figured that if you felt it was appropriate to this group, then maybe
I was missing something. ( I do realize that you don't get a chance to
read all the fml's, especially if you are exceptionally busy).

Sorry about the babbling. Just wanted to say I had a hard time figuring
out why LABBS was using the fml on their BBS, since it doesn't make sense
for a laboratory research group to be posting a newsletter about pets.
But, who knows. There may be other reasons for them using the newsletter.

Inez
