No Kristin, no question is silly.  Yes some people use the Frontline, but I
use 20 Mule Team Borax.  You vacuum really good then throw away the vacuum
cleaner bag.  Then sprinkle the borax onto the carpet even under the
furniture.  Using a broom, you brush the borax into the carpet.  Then give
your babies a bath with a good ferret or kitten flea shampoo.
 
Depending on how severe your infestion is you might need to reapply the
borax in about a week.  Be sure to vacuum very well and toss the bag again.
Again, reapply the borax to any place your fuzzies can get to.
 
I have used this procedure for about 4 years and haven't seen a flea in
that entire time.  I don't like using foggers and I'm not real comfortable
using a product that is good for kittens but not sure about the doseage for
ferrets.
 
Again, this is just a suggestion since it has worked for me.
