This is just my opinion on keeping 10 ferrets in 1 cage.

First of all, you will definitely need more than one litter pan - probably
at least THREE - that right there will cut down on the room in the big cage
somewhat. You will need HUGE bowls - or several - otherwise, you'll be
filling one bowl all the time and there may be fights with 10 ferrets trying
to eat out of 1 bowl. Same goes for water.

As far as giving them more room to play.....my experience has been that
ferrets just sleep in their cages - they don't really play in them - at
least mine don't. Their play time starts when the cage door opens and they
are released into the wonderful world of freedom on the first floor of the
house.

Again, this is just my opinion - I don't like condo cages - I have 2 - and I
think they are a waste of money and space. Like I said, my ferrets don't
play in their cages, so it seems a big condo is just wasted space. They are
awkward to clean and move and heavier than a smaller cage. I've been really
lucky because all my guys use their litter pans religiously in their cages,
however, I've heard of others with condos who have problems with fuzzies
using the 2nd or 3rd floor for a litter pan, and having all the waste drip
down into food and water bowls, etc.

It might be easier to have several smaller cages with common play time.
