Well I have received a disgruntled letter.The person donated for her
surgery, and I was not informed by the vet of this.Also, the vet I received
3 envelopes from them with folks' name and address, one also had a lovely
card.I was told the rest of the donations are either anonymous or by credit
card, and thus no info was available to contact the donor.PLEASE come
forward now if you donated.We received a total of $140 in donations from
you generous folks.$50 from Mystic ferret rescue, and I'm looking them up
online. if you're out there, email me!
My sewing machine went on the fritz.The feed-dog plate got whammied by the
needle, breaking the needle and chipping up the plate.THis is causing the
thread to snag on the plate and not allow the fabric to move and the thread
just bunches up.So I am unable to use it.It is under warranty, and the
store I bought it from last year says if I can find my receipt, they wil
exchange it for me so Ican complete the hammock sewing.Otherwise, I'll have
to send it to the manufacturer, (the plate) for replacement, who knows how
long that will take.I am going to ask my grandmother if I can go to her
house to finish the sewing.She's got a nice machine, and if she isn't busy
using it (she uses it to make crafts to suppliment her pension) hopefully
she'll let me.PLEASE bear with me.I will honor my promise to you all.You
came through for Siggy, and I will not fail you, even if I have to
hand-stitch them!The certificates are printed up.I think I will mail them
now rather than wait for the hamocks to be sent.That way you have half
the thank you.Again, please email me if you donated so that I can thank you
properly!!!I do not want to give shelters or donating through the list a
bad name.
Unrelated-My health has been rotten.I have sinus infections every other
week, and I'm so exhausted.I'm having to go to a specialist next month to
figure out why they are so recurrent.
