To the person who posted about bad breath in a ferret:
 
Since you've already determined that there's nothing wrong with the teeth,
you need to check for kidney disease.  This requires a blood test to check
for BUN and creatinine levels.  Kidney disease is a silent killer, and bad
breath is one of the few ways to catch it early (along with regular blood
tests).  I'm not saying that's what your ferret has; I'm just saying I think
you should have it checked.
