I just want to say that I have been doing rescue in one form or another
(cats, dogs, ferrets) for at least 15 years now and I have never been
involved with as great a community as the 'crazy ferret people' - at
least, that's what my vet calls us. Being a shelter Mom, I recently
started to receive Thanksgiving cards from people that I don't know
all across the country. To say that I was touched would be a gross
understatement. Personally I don't feel that I do anything special, I
think that the people who 'adopt' a ferret instead of 'shopping' for
a ferret are the ones that I idolize!!

I want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to
mail me these cards - they really meant more to me than you will ever
know - and I am sharing them with my foster fuzzies and they are having
a ball stashing them throughout the house so that I can enjoy them
again next summer when I find them in some Godforsaken spot!!
