I remember years ago I joked on the FML about having to install a
babbling brook in my living room for the ferrets to get their nice
fresh water from--well, years later I've got one of those recirculating
Drinkwell pet fountains in the dining room, so I guess it's no joke any
more! :-) The ferrets do like the water fountain quite a bit, though
I had to build a small platform I could clamp it down to, otherwise I'm
sure they would have electrocuted themselves by pulling the fountain
around and sloshing the water all over the cord :-/

"Dook" is pronounced "brk." That's all I've ever heard my ferrets say, I
have never known how the rest of the world hears their sound as anything
like doc or duke or duck or whathaveyou. Brk it is! :-)

"Is that my business? Well, what is my business? Do I know? Did I ever
know? Let s not go into that. You re not human tonight, Marlowe. Maybe
I never was or ever will be... Maybe we all get like this in the cold
half-lit world where always the wrong thing happens and never the right."
